Needless to say, it was an absolutely WILD game that harkened back to the glory days of the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.
It was one of those games that drives coaches crazy, whether they happen to be on the winning side or the losing side of things. After all, a coach's plan is never to win a game 9-6 and when you do, you can't help but feel like you got away with something. That was pretty much the message from Flames head coach Darryl Sutter in his post-game media availability. Sutter cracked a few jokes with his trademark deadpan delivery, but it's clear that he wasn't happy with his team's performance in Game 1.
