By now, you've probably heard that Philadelphia Flyers' rookie Nolan Patrick fought Boston Bruins' veteran center David Krejci during a preseason game yesterday.

It stemmed from a hit that left Jordan Weal without his helmet. When the whistle blew there was a scrum with each skater finding a partner to wrestle with because it had already been a long shift. The 19-year-old then asked Krejci if he wanted to go.

Krejci had not fought since the 2011 preseason and gave his opinion on the rookie dropping his gloves.

“Yeah, I don’t want to speak for him, but I felt like he was little over the line. He was willing to go, too,” Krejci said. “It wasn’t like I dropped and he was surprised. He was expecting that, so I kind of got to give him respect for that. First year in the league, so good for him. But at the same time, I thought he crossed the line a little bit. We fought and now it’s over with.”
