Our deepest condolences to Simon Gagne.

As Per TVA Sports’ Renaude Lavoie, Simon Gagne’s father has passed away at the age of 68 from cancer. The former Flyer had asked for a leave of absence from the Boston Bruins while he took care of things at home. His father had been diagnosed with incurable cancer. The Bruins granted his request, realizing that some things supersede hockey. We can not even imagine how difficult of a time this must be for Simon and his family. We would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to Simon and the entire Gagne family.
