Detroit Red Wings lineup for must-win against Buffalo Sabres.

The Detroit Red Wings are playing what many consider to be a must-win game on Saturday,

The Detroit Red Wings are the losers of 7 straight and may very well be playing in a must-win game against divisional rivals the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.

The Sabres are currently 3 points back of the Red Wings in the Atlantic Division standings and a two point swing in either direction could very well determine which of these teams will be going to the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs... and which team will be going home early.

Given that this is likely to be a pivotal game in the season, Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde will be going with some very familiar names in today's lineup with Jonatan Berggren once again scratched in spite of being called up earlier in the week.

Defenseman Justin Holl, and his cap hit of $3.4 million, is also a healthy scratch on Saturday.

Here is a look at today's full lineup:

Forwards:
DeBrincat-Compher-Kane
Perron-Veleno-Raymond
Rasmussen-Copp-Fischer
Fabbri-Czarnik-Sprong

Defensemen:
Walman-Seider
Chiarot-Petry
Maatta-Gostisbehere

Goalie:
Reimer
