Devil's mascot runs through a window in classroom full of children.

This is one hell of a weird video, and to be perfectly honest I have no freaking idea what in the world is going on here.

A video published online by Barstool Sports shows a scene in a children's classroom featuring the New Jersey Devils' mascot, creatively named the New Jersey Devil. In the video an extremely bizarre scene plays out, as the children are having fun in their class the New Jersey Devil participates, but at one point the Devil seems to completely lose his mind and steps away from the game. 

It is unclear if perhaps the costume was obscuring his vision, or if the man underneath the costume had some kind of episode, but he proceeds to charge head first towards the far end of the classroom. The problem for the Devil here is that there are windows at the end of the classroom he is running towards, and even worse is the fact that at no point does he seemingly make an attempt to slow his momentum. The result is a predictable one, the Devil goes clean through the window as the sounds of shattering glass can be heard loudly over the recording.

Although this is of course a big blunder on the part of the mascot, I will give the man under the mask full credit here for never breaking character. In spite of the fact that he may very well have been injured in this incident he proceeds to boop himself on the head, playing it off as nothing more than a silly mistake. 

A weird situation overall to be sure.
