Devils and Rangers fans come to blows in the lower bowl at Prudential Center

The random head butt is a pretty wild move to pull.

The New York Rangers managed their 9th consecutive victory this evening with a 5-1 drubbing of their cross-town rival New Jersey Devils.

Forward Alexis Lafreniere had two goals and goaltender Igor Shesterkin made 39 saves for the Rangers, who look to be hitting their stride heading down the stretch. They're stacking up wins and their top players seem to be finding their mojo a bit.

The Devils on the other hand...

The Devils have lost two straight and they have just five wins in their last 10 games. They're a frustrated team both on the ice and in the stands, as evidenced by a video shared by Barstool Sports this evening.

Check out this clip of irritated Devils fans and goading Rangers fans coming to blows in the lower bowl of Prudential Center:

The 'out of nowhere' random head butt is a wild move!

I'm going to go ahead and assume that alcohol was consumed by all of the 'gentlemen' in this clip. There seems to be a lot of frustrated, drunken energy to this entire exchange. Which, if you think about it, kind of perfectly encapsulates the entire Devils' situation this season.
