The New Jersey Devils have announced the newly the newly-created Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau Most Valuable Player Award awarded to 'Player of the Game' winners in today's NJSIAA High School Hockey Championships presented by
RWJBarnabas.

The Gaudreau brothers, of course, grew up playing NJIAA High School Hockey in Camden County, NJ for Gloucester Catholic High School. Before moving on to play a higher level of competition in the USHL, Johnny Gaudreau put up a remarkable 21 goals and 48 points in just 14 games with his high school team under the guidance of his father Coach Guy Gaudreau.
RIP to Matthew and Johnny. Gone, but never forgotten.
