Two teammates hit the waiver wire, giving other NHL teams a chance to claim them before the weekend deadline.
The New Jersey Devils were quite busy on the waiver wire on Friday, being the only team moving not one, but two players.
The Devils continued their roster shuffle, placing both forward Juho Lammikko and defenseman Juho Lammikko on waivers.
Lammikko, 29, has appeared in 22 games this season, recording two assists. As for White, 28, he has played 23 contests with four assists.
Both players now face the possibility of being claimed by another NHL team before Saturday’s deadline. If unclaimed, they will be re-assigned to the Utica Comets, giving the Devils flexibility while other teams eye potential depth additions for the stretch run.
