The New Jersey Devils are set to play again this evening but once again they will be hitting the ice without their star forward in Taylor Hall.

Hall has been held out of the line up as the New Jersey Devils have closed in on a trade for the former Hart Memorial Trophy winner and he will be held out of the game against the Arizona Coyotes this evening as well. There were rumblings earlier today that Hall would be made a healthy scratch once again, now however two reporters with direct ties to the Devils organization have confirmed that Hall is indeed officially out.

The Devils' Chris Wescott has reported that Hall will not play.

This report has also been confirmed by official New Jersey Devils beat reporter Amanda Stein.

There have been reports today that the Hall trade could be completed within the next 24 hours so I suppose it should come as little surprise that Hall has been ruled out of another game. That being said hopefully this one is resolved sooner rather than later as I am sure every hockey fan out there is excited to learn where Hall will end up and what he will be able to do on a different team once he gets there.
