The New Jersey Devils are facing the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night and now it looks like Devils head coach John Hynes is taking a bit of a gamble this evening.

With the return of injured former first round pick Kyle Palmieri to the line up this evening Hynes has made the decision to place 19-year-old Jesper Bratt with 2017 first overall pick, 18-year-old Nico Hischier on the second line.

While everyone across the league expects Hischier to be a star player, Bratt's development was a different matter entirely. Bratt was the Devil's sixth round pick in 2016, but since being injected into the line up for this season he has recorded 3 goals and 2 assists in the two games the Devils have played.
