The good news for the Boston Bruins is that they have one of the higher regarded prospects in hockey within their organization, Swedish forward Fabian Lysell.

However, the bad news is that he suffered an injury while playing for the Bruins' American Hockey League affiliate Providence Bruins, and could potentially miss "significant" time. He lost an edge and crashed into the boards while facing the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday night.

According to Providence head coach Ryan Moungel, Lysell isn't expected to be back any time soon.

“He’s gonna miss, probably, significant time, I would imagine,” Moungel told reporters Sunday, per New England Hockey Journal’s Mark Divver. “It’s disappointing. He was starting to play really well.”

Lysell has tallied 15 goals with 35 assists in the 50 games that he's appeared in for Providence this season.
