Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic was arrested over the weekend after an alleged domestic incident and now more details about what led to his arrest have come to light.
Those details come courtesy of CBS Boston's Tiffany Chan who, on Saturday night, cited a team source and shared details of the 911 call that led to the arrest of Lucic.
Team sources say Lucic’s wife called 911 and told Boston police her husband attacked and choked her. When officers arrived, sources added that Milan Lucic appeared drunk.
It is important to note that none of these allegations have been proven in court and Lucic remains innocent until proven guilty, however these details paint an ugly picture of what may have transpired.
The Bruins released a statement on Saturday following the arrest of Lucic, with the team making it clear that Lucic will be on an indefinite leave of absence effective immediately.
