Dominik Hasek forced to come get his equipment out of Czech HHOF

This video certainly is unfortunate.
Former Vezina and Hart Trophy winning goaltender Dominik Hasek was captured on video collecting some of his old equipment from the Czech Hockey Hall of Fame in Prague, which is closing due to financial issues.
Among his personal memorabilia he was seen putting into a shopping cart include his pads he wore during the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games, one of the Stanley Cup rings he won with the Detroit Red Wings, jerseys, skates, and hockey sticks.
The video was taken by Czech hockey reporter Zdenek Janda.
"It's not pleasant, but I have no choice but to respect it," Hasek explained to a Czech publication. "The executive committee decided to close it, something went wrong, it wasn't profitable."
Needless to say, Hasek's influence in his homeland remains extensive, especially after delivering the gold medal to the Czech Republic in the Olympics. He's also the only goaltender in NHL history to have won the Hart Trophy in back to back years. After an extensive career with the Buffalo Sabres, he was traded to Detroit in late June of 2001. He'd announce his retirement after winning the Stanley Cup in 2002, only to pivot and return to action in 2003, though he would eventually call it quits on the season after his groin didn't heal properly.
He'd later spend a season with the Ottawa Senators before returning to Detroit for two more seasons, retiring from the NHL for good following Detroit's 2008 Stanley Cup win.
