Dominik Kubalík fires a rocket for the 1st Chicago Blackhawks goal of the season
The left-wing put his team on the board on the power play!
There it is!
Things may not have been going perfectly well for the Chicago Blackhawks in their regular season opening game against the Colorado Avalanche tonight at Ball Arena, having fallen into a 3-0 hole early on against their contending hosts.
However, left wing forward Dominik Kubalík saw fit to change that. He fired a rocket past goaltender Darcy Kuemper while the Blackhawks enjoyed a man advantage, cutting the lead to 3-1 and lighting the lamp for Chicago for the first time this season:
The Czech native is a veteran of 147 games played in the NHL, tallying 47 goals and 37 assists.
