This deal could be a bargain.
The Anaheim Ducks and G John Gibson have agreed on a 3 year-deal worth $6.9M.
The average annual salary will be of $2.3M.
This deal could possibly turn out to be a real bargain for the Ducks. John Gibson is bound to become a franchise goaltender in the NHL. At 22, Gibson is entering the last year of his entry-level contract and registered and really good record last year. Playing 23 games, he won 13, lost 8 and posted a .914 save percentage.
John Gibson will probably start the next season in the AHL, but will battle in 2016-2017 for a starting job in Anaheim.
