Duhaime ejected after big hit leaves Harley bloody.
Minnesota Wild forward Brandon Duhaime received a major and a game misconduct on Sunday night.
Minnesota Wild forward Brandon Duhaime has earned himself an early night off.
On Sunday night, as the Minnesota Wild clashed with the Dallas Stars, Duhaime was ejected from the game after he leveled Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley with a big time body check. Duhaime drove Harley hard into the boards, the impact of which would leave the Stars defenseman leaking on the ice and on his visor.
A visibly shaken and bloodied Harley was able to get back up after a few short moments down on the ice, but after the officials were done reviewing the play it was Duhaime who was ushered off the ice.
