The first NHL goal scored at Salt Lake City's Delta Center and the first goal in Utah HC history has been scored by 21 year old star in the making Dylan Guenther.

The 2021 NHL Draft 9th overall selection signed a monster 8 year contract with the team last month, despite never suiting up for a game for the team. After all, Guenther's rookie season with the team came last season as a member of the Arizona Coyotes.

Now in Utah though, Guenther committed to the team long-term and he'll now he'll go down in history as the franchise's inaugural goal scorer.
