Don't say that professional hockey players don't have the biggest of hearts.
Detroit Red Wing captain Dylan Larkin reached out to a young Red Wings fan going through a difficult time in his life with a touching video message and invitation.
"I saw the video and I'm sorry you are going through a tough time in your life," Larkin said in the Twitter video. "It's summertime and nice weather. I hope you can get outside, play sports and play with friends, play some street hockey in that cool new jersey that you got."
Larkin would then invite Dillion to a game next season, leading to an incredible reaction from the youngster.
"Holy cow," Dillion said.
