We have a new record.

The Detroit Red Wings young star has set a new NHL skills competition record.
Dylan Larkin is now the fastest skater in the National Hockey League, or at the very least the fastest All-Star who happened to participate in this competition, beating a record previously held by an NHL great, none other that Mike Gartner.
It's one thing to beat a skills competition record, that's already impressive, but breaking a record of a guy like Gartner has to be a special feeling for Larkin.
Larkin accomplished the feat with a time of 13.172 seconds.
