Dylan Larkin returns to practice for Red Wings
Detroit desperately needs their captain back.

What has happened to the Detroit Red Wings over the last two weeks is nothing short of startling, as they've lost seven consecutive games in regulation and completely blown what was a nine-point cushion in the standings.
Additionally, the injury to captain Dylan Larkin has left the rest of his teammates looking completely lost on the ice in what has been a Jekyll and Hyde performance. Right now, the Red Wings are on the outside looking in at the playoffs, and are now four points behind the Tampa Bay Lightning.
One positive bit of news is that Larkin was on the ice this morning at the Red Wings practice facility inside of Little Caesars Arena, skating with the rest of his teammates.
However, Larkin is expected to miss at least the next pair of games that sees the Red Wings take on the Buffalo Sabres and the Pittsburgh Penguins on consecutive days.
With 26 goals and 28 assists on the season, Larkin was on a point per game pace prior to his injury that he suffered last Saturday afternoon against the Florida Panthers, a 4-0 setback in Detroit.
