There's nothing quite like a prize fight between two large gentlemen.

Last night big boys Dylan McIlrath and Ross Johnston elected to drop the gloves with one another and treated hockey fans to a rarity these days: A true heavyweight tilt.

McIrath stands 6'5" and 240 lbs while Johnston comes in at 6'5", 235 lbs, so this is a very even match and it honestly plays out pretty evenly too. Both boys can throw 'em and both boys can take 'em.

Check it out:

I remember a time where this was a nightly occurrence in the NHL. Now how many true heavyweights do with have left in the league? Maybe half a dozen?! MAYBE, if that?!

In any case, I personally love seeing throwback tilts like and I think most hockey fans would agree that encounters like this should and will always have a place in the game, at least at the NHL level.
