Edmonton police chief scandalized about Oilers deep run?

All the fans in Edmonton have a huge smile on their face today following a very decisive and one sided win against the Ducks last night. A 7-1 blowout against a Cup contender is no small achievement and the city is cheering ever since. 

However, it's seems not everyone is happy in Edmonton these days. 

Of course, he's not wrong. Every game at Rogers Place needs to be supervised and secured by the local police, no one can argue that. However, hockey is such a huge part of the city's culture that it's a shame money becomes a problem for some. 

To be sure, we aren't arguing for frivolous expenses but the people pay taxes to be served in return. Spending a few bucks to live the craziness of the Playoffs is well worth it in our books.
