On Tuesday night the Carolina Hurricanes welcomed the National Hockey League's best team in the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Hurricanes put on a spirited effort in front of their hometown crowd in Raleigh putting up five goals to beat the Blue Jackets 5-3. Unfortunately for the Hurricanes and the Blue Jackets virtually no one showed up to witness the show both sides put on that evening, once again raising questions about the longevity of that franchise in it's current market.
Chris Vallely of NYR Pulse published pictures displaying his view of the seemingly empty arena in North Carolina.
