Not a single fan was in their seat after this one.
The Western Hockey League was treated to quite the show this week when Carter Bylycia of the Tri-City Americans and Cole Hajt went toe to toe, and I mean really went toe to toe.
The two teenagers left it all out on the ice in this one and by the time it was all said and done I don't think there was a single fan still in their seat, and that includes the announcers in the broadcast booth.
Both men came into this fight with wild abandon, throwing punch after punch but, although Bylycia would eventually run out of gas, Hajt never seemed to tire. Hajt at one point moved his arm up to block the onslaught of punches from Bylycia and after catching his breath he began to unload again on his opponent, this time overwhelming him with the second barrage of punches.
Bylycia was forced to turtle up and the officials eventually came in to save him, but full credit to both of these 17 year olds for showing tremendous heart and fire in this one.
