This is getting scary…

San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson might have set the series-clinching goal against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night to allow Barclay Goodrow to score the overtime winner, there is something wrong with the veteran player.

And it’s starting to show more than it did back during the regular season.

The Sharks are getting ready to face the Colorado Avalanche for the first game of the second round on Friday, but there won’t be enough days for Karlsson to rest.

The star blue liner hasn’t been his true self this year, getting  hip injuries more than once during the regular calendar, and now the pain is starting to take over more and more as the Sharks go deeper into the postseason.

According to Gord Miller, who was the main commentator for the Sharks and Golden Knights series, Karlsson will need to go straight to the hospital after his postseason days are over.

“When his playoffs are over, I think he’s going to go to the hospital and ask for the works, he can barely walk…There isn’t one thing wrong with him, there’s a lot.”

Fans have been quick to notice that something is wrong with the star defender, and it seems like it’s getting more and more serious as time goes by.

The Sharks already have to deal with the loss of their captain Joe Pavelski, who fell hard on the ice during Game 7 and left bloody and dazed, we bet Karlsson is keeping quiet about his injuries.

Let’s hope he manages to remain safe and can help his team in their first championship quest.

But man, this is scary…
