ESPN has released their "Experts' conference finals picks for the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs" and while all the members likely picked independently of one another, two clear favorites emerged from the results.
In a panel that included Craig Custance, Linda Kohn, John Buccigross, Barry Melrose, Adnan Virk, Steve Levy, Pat Kavanagh and Paul Grant they voted seven to one in favor of one team on both sides of the Conference Final.
Seven writers voted for the Nasvhille Predators in the Western Conference Final with the only vote for the Anaheim Ducks coming from Linda Kohn who predicted another seven game series for the Ducks.
In the Eastern Conference the Pittsburgh Penguins emerged as the big favorites receiving seven votes with the only vote for the Senators coming from Adnan Virk who expects the Ottawa Senators to defeat the Penguins in six games.
