One of the most important aspects of playing at the highest level of sport is the ability to regulate one's emotions in the biggest moments, at least enough that you can harness those emotions without letting them overwhelm you.

One player who always seems to remain cool, calm and collected no matter the magnitude of the moment is Edmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard. Bouchard never seems to let the moment get to him and even elevates his play in the biggest moments of them all, something that was brought up to Leon Draisaitl during his media availability on Sunday.

Draisaitl was asked about Bouchard's seemingly stone cold nature in the big moments and Draisaitl used the opportunity to poke a little fun at his teammate.

"Yeah," said Draisaitl laughing immediately. "Sometimes maybe a little too relaxed."

Draisaitl explained that his comment was something of an inside joke before complimenting his teammate on his ability to remain calm in the biggest moments.

"That's our joke at least in the room, but he's as elite as it gets," admitted Draisaitl.

Draisaitl wasn't done there, showering Bouchard with praise before eventually ending his media availability for the day.

"His composure is incredible, he's so calm with the puck, I think he instills a lot of calmness around our room when the puck is on his stick," added Draisaitl. "Obviously there's a lot of trust in him, he's just a great player."

Given the magnitude of the games ahead, even Evan Bouchard has to be at least a little fired up.
