Evan Rodrigues melts hearts during day with Stanley Cup
Memories that will last a lifetime!
Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues was a key contributor during his team's postseason run to their first Stanley Cup championship, scoring seven goals in 24 playoff games and kicking off what has been a summer-long party for Cats fans everywhere.
As is tradition, each player and member of the organization gets their own personal day with the famed Trophy, and Rodrigues decided to bring it back to his alma matter of Boston University with his wife and three kids. And as if that weren't cool enough, his two sons did their best impression of Phil Pritchard, known as the "keeper of the Cup" complete with suits and white gloves:
Needless to say, its something that Rodrigues will remember forever.
"I think that was a little chills moment when the kids brought me the Cup and seeing my name on it," said Rodrigues. "Yeah, it definitely gave me chills and will be a memory that definitely will be very vivid for the rest of my life."
