Over the course of his many years in the National Hockey League, Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane has earned himself a reputation as something of a bad boy around the league. That reputation has largely been well deserved, however he has put noticeable effort into changing his image since joining the ranks of the Edmonton Oilers.

One of the ways Kane has done so has been with an annual shopping spree that he provides to less fortunate families in the Edmonton area, a tradition that he has once again carried on this year.

Kane recently published a video to social media of him once again buying toys for dozens of children around the holiday season, a memory that will no doubt last a lifetime for these kids.

There were a number of heartwarming moments in the video, including Kane valiantly attempting to win over the heart of a young Toronto Maple Leafs fan. In the end Kane was able to get the young lady to take one of his jerseys and she even put it on, although she may not have been thrilled about it.

A beautiful gesture from Kane at a time of year where many families struggle, and one that has no doubt created many new Evander Kane fans.
