Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane held his third annual Christmas Shop where he invites underprivileged children in the Edmonton area to join him for a Christmas shopping spree!

Kane met with over 200 kids earlier this week and donated Christmas gifts for them and their families directly out of his own pocket.

Kane started this initiative when he arrived in Edmonton back in 2021 and has continued it for a 3rd consecutive season, despite the fact that he hasn't been able to dress for a game this entire season. The 33 year old power forward had offseason surgery to heal a hernia injury and is expected to re-join the team in March or April, 2025.
