The Canucks’ forward kinda looked foolish, but I bet it won’t hurt his already disappointing production.
On Friday, the Vancouver Canucks faced the Hurricanes in Carolina and the night started out rough for forward Evander Kane.
Before puck drop, as both teams were on the ice for warm-ups, Kane was skating around and shooting at the net when he took a deflected puck to the face.
As soon as he was hit, Kane exited the ice to go back to the team’s dressing room, but had a hissy fit on his way out, for everyone to see.
The camera even moves away, attempting to save Kane from this embarrassment.

It’s been a tough season so far for Kane, his first with Vancouver after he was traded by the Edmonton Oilers over the summer.
Ahead of tonight’s action against Carolina, Kane had just tallied three goals and nine points in 18 games.
You can add a puck to the face by one of his own teammates to the stat sheet.
