Hockey fans certainly won't soon forget that defenseman P.K. Subban was once known as one of the league's top players at his position. Not only did he win the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top defenseman in 2013, he was also a finalist for the award in 2018. He was also considered among the most exciting players on the ice.

Additionally, he was one of the more polarizing figures in the League during his playing days - especially for his role in the legendary Original 6 rivalry between the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins. There are few who can forget his two clutch goals against the Bruins in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs:

Subban, who is active on social media, had a funny reaction to a television commercial that aired years ago that poked fun at the Habs-Bruins rivalry:

Subban decided to call it a career 33 years old after spending the last few years with the New Jersey Devils and being unable to find a suitor for his services last summer, during which he said he'd only play for a contending team. He's since taken a position as a broadcast analyst for the NHL on ESPN.

Over the course of his career spent with the Canadiens, Predators and Devils, he scored 115 goals with 352 assists.
