Coming off of eliminating the Tamp Bay Lightning in six games to finally move on from the first round of the postseason, the Toronto Maple Leafs dropped Game 1 of their second-round series 4-2 to the Florida Panthers on home ice Tuesday night.
To the delight of two extremely dedicated Maple Leafs haters who started trending on social media.
People started to notice that this man and woman are often attending games at the Scotiabank arena, and wear the rival team’s jerseys in order to root against the Maple Leafs.
It started trending on social media as they were sporting Lightning jerseys in the first round series and have now switched to wearing Panthers’ gear for this round.
Some fans went back further into the regular season and also found them with Coyotes’ jerseys when Arizona got away with the win.
Now that’s dedication!
