Fan uncovers Red Wings treasure at unlikely location.
A fan has found what would be considered a treasure to most fans of the Detroit Red Wings in a foreign country.
If you're a fan of the Detroit Red Wings this next story might leave you feeling more than just a little jealous.
A hockey fan has found what can only be described as a true Red Wings treasure and he has found it in a rather unlikely location, in a foreign country in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
The news was shared on social media by TSN's Jesse Pollock, who revealed this week that his 'little bro' had found a Red Wings jersey autographed by several legends from the past at a thrift store in the city. The names on the jersey include Henrik Zetterberg, Tomas Holmstrom, Johan Franzen, Niklas Kronwall and more and appears to have been a true collectors item that one fan attempted to get signed by as many players as possible.
What will really make you jealous however is the price of the item itself. According to Pollock, the jersey was acquired for the low, low, price of just $50, which of course is a fraction of what you would pay for just the jersey itself these days. When adding all of the legendary signatures on top of it, it becomes a rather unique piece of memorabilia that is certainly worth many times the purchase price.
