Fans concerned over viral Connor McDavid picture

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid is moving on from the Stanley Cup loss and is ready to enjoy his summer, which includes his wedding to fiancée Lauren Kyle on Monday.

However, when Kyle shared details on the wedding on her personal Instagram account on Monday, she also posted a picture in a story that got a lot of people talking. That’s because McDavid posed with his soon-to-be wife and people were quick to point out McDavid’s apparent sunburned face just days before their wedding celebration.
In the picture, we can see Kyle and McDavid posing with some drinks at the tasting, but what stands out if the poor superstar’s face… And fans expressed their concern for the player, along with some funny comments.

“This cracked me up,” one person wrote. “How much does he make a year and can’t apply sunscreen?”

“McSunburn,” another person said.

“Hopefully Connor’s learns how to use sunscreen by then,” someone else wrote.

On that same day where the picture of McDavid, Kyle also shared the menu items they tasted ahead of the big day. The list included sushi pizza, birria quesadilla, chicken drumette, pork belly satay, spicy falafel, wild mushroom flatbread and wagyu tartar. Other options were gazpacho, and a tomato and burrata salad.

A few days prior, Kyle put online beautiful pictures of her bridal shower, in which McDavid’s sunburn face is nowhere to be found.
