You would be hard-pressed to find a fanbase as frustrated with the state of their franchise as the Oilers. The Oilers have been stuck in the NHL's basement for nearly a decade now and although they have had their fair share of 1st Overall picks, the situation has not improved. Some would even say it has gotten worse and worse. The Oilers once again find themselves in hockey purgatory this season, as they currently sit dead last in the NHL. Any hope that Oilers fans had before the season started is long gone, as the team's 7-20-6 record speaks for itself. The recent firing of Dallas Eakins was indicative of how flawed things have become. What was he supposed to do? Spin straw into gold? The fans have now turned their frustration to the upper management. They demand changes be made from the top down starting with Craig MacTavish and Kevin Lowe. Many are calling for their jobs. A Facebook group was recently created in the goal of removing Kevin Lowe. "Kevin Lowe Must Go" have gone to great lengths to have their voices heard. They even purchased a full page ad in the Edmonton Sun addressed to Oilers' owner Daryl Katz. The price you may ask? A whopping $5,680. Now that is frustration folks.
