Fans get upset after Preds players fail to wear LGBT inspired jerseys on Pride Night
Hear me out... maybe they were just concentrated on winning a hockey game?

The Nashville Predators host San Jose Sharks this evening for Pride Night at Bridgestone Arena, but evidently the team isn't showing enough pride in the LGBT community for some fans.
A Preds fan on Twitter known only as "Knox" posted his disappointment that too few players were wearing the team's Pride jersey or using rainbow tape on their sticks in warmups and fellow Preds fans echoed his sentiment.
Check out these reactions:
Can we all just take a deep breath for a moment, please?
I realize that as a heterosexual, cisgender male I may not have the most nuanced perspective on these things, but I really don't see how this is an issue? Pardon my ignorance, but maybe the players are just concentrated on winning a hockey game rather than sending a message of inclusivity? Maybe they just were oblivious to the entire ordeal? After all, the Preds spend most of their day preparing for a hockey game... not for warmup jersey selection.
More than that though, I really urge anyone who is offended by this to look elsewhere for acceptance and validation. Putting your faith in a multi-million dollar sports franchise to provide you with a sense of acceptance is a recipe for disappointment.
