Former NHL defenseman P.K. Subban loves to entertain. However last night as he sat on the ESPN panel for the first night of action of the second-round of the postseason, he said something that got fans talking.
For all the wrong reasons.
Subban was commenting the Toronto Maple Leafs’ performance during Game 1 of the second round of the playoffs agains the Florida Panthers, and stated a beef with famous pop star Lizzo as he made unacceptable comments about her weight.
Subban suggested that Leafs pack a ”Lizzo sized lunch” if they want to do better in Game 2.
Lizzo is one of the world’s top-performing pop stars at the moment, and Subban’s bashing of her caught fans off guard.
Some have been quite vocal on social media that Subban should be fired from ESPN. Others suggest he needs to apologize ASAP if he wants to keep his spot on the network.
Let’s see what comes next in this saga that could have been avoided if Subban knew how to keep his bad jokes to himself.
