Ooooh boy.
A woman named Taylor Gross is going off on a social media tirade today against USA Hockey, alleging that she was fired from her job with the organization for calling out inappropriate conduct amongst "multiple people in the company and affiliate presidents".
From Gross' Twitter account:
And that's not where things ended...
Gross would go on to allege that she was also "roofied" while employed by USA Hockey:
Gross would then share a screen shot from one of her other social media accounts that alleges she was shown a nude photo of her female boss believed to be USA Hockey executive Katie Holmgren from, presumably, someone else employed at USA Hockey whom Holmgren was having an affair with.
Having a hard time keeping up with all this?
You're not alone.
Gross' Twitter replies are full of people calling out the holes in her story and demanding that she provide proof for her allegations. So far, none of these allegations have been substantiated and USA Hockey has refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing.
Still, this story is generating a lot of attention in the online hockey world and Gross is not backing down from the attention that her allegations have generated.
It's unclear exactly what Gross' role was at USA Hockey, but it appears that she was in a coaching and development role until approximately 2022. She previously played four years of college hockey for Penn State and the University of Connecticut from 2010 until 2014.
