Finally some positive injury news for the Red Wings.

After a string of terrible news the Red Wings are finally getting a positive update on the injury front. Head Coach Mike Babcock announced today that top defenseman Niklas Kronwall will make his return to the line up. The timing is hugely important for the Red Wings who despite having locked in a playoff spot, are still currently fighting for home ice advantage. The Red Wings are attempting to hold off a surging Ottawa who currently sit 5 points back. Ottawa however has won 9 of their last 10 compared to just 3 wins in the last 10 games for the Detroit. The Wings will face off against the visiting San Jose Sharks tonight at the Joe, and will be without the services of both Eric Cole and Pavel Datsyuk who have also been sidelined with injuries.
