The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking considerably different between the pipes next season, as the Jack Campbell era officially came to a close. The popular goalie known affectionately by his teammates and fans as "Soup" is taking his talents to northern Alberta, having agreed to a five year contract with the Edmonton Oilers worth $5 million per season.

Meanwhile, Leafs GM Kyle Dubas has acquired Matt Murray from the Ottawa Senators as well as signing Ilya Samsonov from the Washington Capitals to replace Campbell and Petr Mrazek, who was dealt to Chicago.

Campbell recorded a 31-9-6 record with Toronto this season, earning his first All-Star appearance. However, his stats began to dip in the second half of the season as the Leafs as a whole struggled defensively. And while he performed as well as anyone could reasonably have hoped for (aside from Game 4 in Tampa) in net in the postseason, the Leafs and Dubas were unwilling to pony up for the contract that he was looking for.

He's officially replacing the veteran Mike Smith in net for Edmonton, who is now on LTIR and likely is finished with his NHL career. And for Oilers fans trying to catch a glimpse of what Campbell looks like in Oilers gear, look no further.
