The Toronto Maple Leafs have a new goaltender and although no one truly knows how well he will perform at the National Hockey League level, at 6 feet 7 inches tall he certainly strikes a very imposing figure.

On Monday, the Maple Leafs officially called up goaltender Dennis Hildeby to the main roster which also meant that we got to see him practice with the Maple Leafs for the first time this season. Hildeby is a gigantic man and there was no hiding that fact during practice on Monday, with the massive Swede towering over his teammates on the ice.

In fact at 6'7 Hildeby will be the tallest active goaltender in the entire National Hockey League, with players like Jake Oettinger, Jacob Markstrom, Anthony Stolarz and Magnus Hellberg all listed at 6'6 tall. Former NHL goaltender Ben Bishop was another mammoth of a man that measured in a 6'7 tall, but he has since retired.
