We are now one day removed from the stunning trade between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Edmonton Oilers, a trade that saw a goalie swap between former Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner and former Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry.

Fans in Edmonton did not have to wait long to get their first look at Jarry in an Oiler's uniform however, with Jarry hitting the ice the very next morning. Word was that Jarry was extremely excited at the prospect of a potential move to Edmonton and it would seem that is indeed the case.

We can already see video of Jarry practicing in his Oilers colors from today:

Fans won't have to wait long to see Jarry get his first test as an Oiler either, with the veteran netminder looking to jump right into things roughly just 24 hours after being traded. Jarry confirmed that he will make his Oilers debut tonight when the Oilers take on the Toronto Maple Leafs, a high profile national game in Canada that will be broadcast across the country.

Jarry is of course a Canadian and fully understands the pressures that will come with playing in a Canadian market, but seems entirely unphased by the situation and will be jumping right into things.

Jarry was having a solid season prior to the trade with a 2.66 goals against average and a .909 save percentage over 14 games with the Penguins, and now only time will tell if he can maintain that form moving forward.
