First period highlights: Blue Jackets VS Maple Leafs

The Monday night game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Columbus Blue Jackets is still scoreless after the first period in Toronto!

 The Blue Jackets couldn't score on a early power play, after Roman Polak hit Lukas Sedlak dangerously along the boards. 

Columbus went 0-2 on the power play.

The shots are 11-8 in favor of the Blue Jackets.

Frederik Andersen had to make a couple of difficult saves to keep the score tied at 0-0.

Toronto are currently third in the Atlantic division with a record of 25-16-2. Columbus are third in the Metropolitan division with a record of 26-16-3.
