First picture at Auston Matthews’ new look goes up on social media and fans are stunned!

Toronto Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews made a promise and followed through on Wednesday, December 1st.

Earlier in November, Matthews vowed to shave the moustache he’s been sporting for more than two years now if he reached his goal of raising $134,000 for men’s health this month.

Matthews crushed his target in mid-November, and shaved the ‘stache this morning.

In total on his Movember page, Matthews raised $148,049 for men’s health.

While he had grown the moustache on a whim in a vacation in Mexico back in 2019 and kept the duster to “kinda blend in with my heritage a bit” as his mother Ema is Mexican.

But this morning, the ‘stache is gone and it’s all for a great cause.
