Flames coach Peters accused of using the “N-word” against former player

Some very serious allegations of racism against the Flames' bench boss.

This just in, Calgary Flames head coach Bill Peters has been accused of making racist remarks at former player Akim Aliu during the 2009-10 season with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.

Interestingly enough, Peters was NOT available to the media following tonight's OT loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. 

Suffice it to say, there's still a LOT more information to come in this story. Stay tuned.
