November 15th, Johnny Gaudreau leaves the ice after being slashed to the hand by Eric Staal. According to the Flames' general manager Brad Treliving, it was the 11th time during the game Gaudreau was whacked at.

Things heated up when Treliving openly criticized the referees and Bruce Boudreau's team: ""When you have a good player, there are tactics. Whether you put more men on them, you try to be physical, you try to take away space, all the things that we know and talk about," said Treliving. "But when you chop a guy in the hand, there's a rule that says you can't do that."

We're now two weeks past the Johnny Hockey events and Bruce Boudreau is trying to slow things down a bit: "They've played twenty-some games, everybody slashed somebody on the hand [...] it's the gloves that are getting less and less padding and scorers they tend to don't want anything in their's."

While for Mark Giordano, he wanted to make sure the Wild knew what's coming for them tonight: "we're going to play their top guys hard".

The game i set to be at 9pm, ET.
