Flames provide official update on T.J. Brodie after the player collapsed at practice earlier today
The veteran defenseman collapsed and went into convulsions at practice today.

UPDATE: Flames general manager Brad Treliving has released an official update on Brodie's health following a scary episode earlier today at practice.
This just in courtesy of CTV's Glenn Campbell, Calgary Flames defenseman T.J. Brodie has collapsed on the ice at his team's practice and is being treated by paramedics on the scene.

Suffice to say that this is an absolutely terrifying for Brodie, his family, his friends and his teammates. While we don't yet know the severity of what happened and what sort of recovery he's looking at, we obviously hope and pray for the best possible outcome.
The 29 year old Brodie has no history of heart problems, seizures or any other serious health issues. In 21 games with the Flames so far this season, Brodie has eight points.
