UPDATE: Flames general manager Brad Treliving has released an official update on Brodie's health following a scary episode earlier today at practice.

Suffice to say that this is an absolutely terrifying for Brodie, his family, his friends and his teammates. While we don't yet know the severity of what happened and what sort of recovery he's looking at, we obviously hope and pray for the best possible outcome.

The 29 year old Brodie has no history of heart problems, seizures or any other serious health issues. In 21 games with the Flames so far this season, Brodie has eight points.

Standby for more information as it becomes available.
