Two-time Stanley Cup champion Corey Crawford has been away playing with Team Canada in the World Cup of Hockey 2016. After returning from the tournament as a champion the goaltender suited up for the first time this preseason vs the Detroit Red Wings during last night’s matchup.
Crawford’s total on ice time was 30:27 and he denied all 8 shots fired on goal. Scott Darling hit the ice last night as well for a total 28:56 and was able to make 9 saves on 10 shots made on him.
Both goalies had stellar performances and we can only hope to see similar results during the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.
